Be aware that some of the books listed here are not suitable for all readers (in particular younger ones). They all have mystery, romance, action and adventure. The setting also varies for each book, some of them take place in the 1900s or earlier, others are in the present day. They mostly have a female lead in them and she’s an archaeologist, egyptologist or is related to someone that is. However, there are some that don’t and focus on other ancient civilizations. Some of these books also take place in Egypt with a discovery of an Ancient Egyptian artifact, curse, mummy, or temple.
